Lawrenceville, situated in Gwinnett County, Georgia, United States, serves as both a city and the county seat.

It is a suburb to Atlanta, approximately 30 miles (50 km) northeast of downtown, and shares its borders with Suwanee, Dacula, and Duluth. As per the 2020 census, Lawrenceville's population was 30,629.

Historically, Lawrenceville was incorporated on December 15, 1821, making it the second oldest city in the metropolitan Atlanta area. It was named after Commodore James Lawrence, famed commander of the frigate Chesapeake during the War of 1812,
